Navigating the intricate journey of early professional life, I understand the overwhelming nature of the challenges—from dating to managing the home office and parenting. Amidst this complexity, investing in your well-being becomes paramount, and therapy serves as a crucial guide.

As a dedicated Psychotherapist, my focus is on supporting individuals in their 20s and 30s through this dynamic phase. I bring an eclectic approach to my clinical practice, tailoring each session to address the specific concerns and goals of my clients. Predominantly adopting a trauma-informed psychotherapy approach through a psychodynamic lens, I guide clients to explore the underlying dynamics of their concerns. This not only provides insights but also equips them with strategies for short-term functionality and stabilization.

Whether you’re navigating self-doubt, anxiety, or seeking clarity in your goals, my goal is to create a transformative space tailored to your individual journey.

It’s great to connect with you! I am a Psychotherapy Intern offering affordable therapy to adults, teenagers, kids and families online and in-person at Plum Mental Wellness in Liberty Village, Toronto.

I love working with young adults in their 20’s-40’s, and teens and kids, and often their parents to increase self-esteem, reduce anxiety and depression, support through life transitions, help with parenting, stress, relationship issues, and support for learning and/or developmental disabilities.

Prior to my training as a therapist, I lived and worked overseas as a Special Education Teacher and Social and Emotional Case Manager for students in primary and secondary school. I am personally and professionally experienced in working with a variety of different communities and dealing with the opportunities and challenges of living internationally.

My colleagues and clients comment on my groundedness and ability to make others feel at ease.

On the personal side, I enjoy reading and yoga, and have recently taken up scuba diving. I love travelling, and prior to changing careers, lived and worked in Hong Kong and Vietnam, working at international schools there.

Hello! I am a Registered Social Worker and a Registered Psychotherapist. I help individuals, adults, youth and older aged adults with a focus on trauma, self-esteem, mood disorders and self-care/ coping. I use an integrative approach to therapy as I believe there is no “one size fits all” approach to therapy! I am person centered and focus on many different modalities including mindfulness, CBT, Trauma focused and processing through brain spotting, solution focused, and strengths based approaches. In addition to this I am currently learning IFS (parts work to explore internal conflicts), somatic connection (mind and body) and emotion focused (feelings and needs).

Each session will be tailored to your needs from a collaborative perspective. Having a integrative approach means exploring the behavioural, cognitive, physical, social and spiritual aspects in treatment as a means to respond to different needs at different times.

Others describe me as bubbly, open, kind and empathetic. Being from Newfoundland, I love nature, ocean views and hiking. On my off time I have a cockapoo dog who runs the show but keeps my physical and mental health on point!

Hello! I am so glad to connect with you. I am a Registered Psychotherapist offering affordable therapy options for individuals and couples online and in-person at Plum Mental Wellness in Liberty Village, Toronto.

I work with professionals and couples in their 20’s, 30’s and 40’s who are dealing with life transitions, self-esteem, anxiety/depression, relationship challenges, and unwanted behaviours. I’ve seen first-hand how important wellness is.

As a former corporate accountant, I’m familiar with the unique challenges faced by professionals as they finish school, choose life directions, and build their careers. Alongside my accounting past, I’ve worked with distress lines and SickKids, so I have a comfortable history working with a variety of individuals.

Colleagues and clients consider me to be warm and accepting. I am quick to encourage clients’ strengths and support change in a genuinely feel-good manner.

On the personal side, I have done everything from competitive tennis to improv, and have done some incredibly fun travel (from scuba diving with sharks in Jamaica to camping in the Sahara Desert to climbing the tallest mountain in Malaysia).

Life can be difficult to manage under the best of circumstances, adding ADHD into the mix creates a new set of challenges that we may not be prepared to face on our own. We often overlook the ways in which ADHD and trauma impact our emotions, relationships, and self-concept; where feelings of guilt, shame, and frustration can overwhelm us, leaving us feeling stuck and isolated. I can help you feel more grounded and in control, allowing you to uncover your strengths, improve your relationship with yourself and others, get out of autopilot mode, and better manage the demands of daily life. My approach is trauma-informed, meaning that we’ll identify your “bad habits” as learned adaptive responses to a maladaptive environment, not character flaws.

Together, we can work through overwhelming emotions to feel a renewed sense of happiness, calm, and confidence; prioritize your needs and set healthy boundaries; better manage your time and energy with sustainable routines; find the balance between being too hard on yourself and letting yourself off too easy; and develop a sense of self-compassion and acceptance.

My work focuses on supporting people in their 20’s and 30’s who are struggling with ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship struggles. I use an eclectic mix of therapeutic techniques, allowing me to personalize and tailor a treatment plan to you.

Early professional life is uniquely fast-paced, and sometimes overwhelming. From dating and building relationships, to figuring out what you want from your life, to navigating the (home) office, to parenting… it’s a lot! You need time to invest in yourself instead of all of the distractions surrounding you, and therapy is a great way to do that.

My work focuses on supporting professionals, entrepreneurs and goal-oriented clients (athletes, performers, passion-project-ers) in their 20’s and 30’s to navigate these challenges. We’ll talk about the hard feelings like self-doubt and anxiety, but we’ll also explore where you want to be. The goal is to line you up with the life you want to be living.

I offer both psychotherapy and neurofeedback because I’ve found that it is the best combination to help clients to get on track faster.
